Ian Barford

Biography

Ian Barford is a Steppenwolf ensemble member. He originated the role of Wheeler in Tracy Letts's Linda Vista Vista. He also originated the role of Little Charles in August: Osage County (also on Broadway - original company - and The National Theatre of Great Britain) and Ray in Mary Page Marlowe, also by Tracy Letts. Broadway credits also include: Ed in the Tony-winning play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and Billy in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. Steppenwolf credits include: The March, The Libertine, As I Lay Dying, Endgame, Visiting Edna, Berlin Circle, Betrayal, Three Days of Rain and many others. Regional credits include: All the Rage and Design for Living (Goodman Theatre); The Little Prince (Lookingglass Theatre Company); The Weir, God's Man in Texas, Take Me Out (Geffen Playhouse, Los Angeles); and Dead End (Ahmanson in Los Angeles). National Tour of Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Film credits include: Catch Hell, Return to Sender, Road to Perdition, 13 Going on 30, and others. Numerous television appearances."
