Robert H. Satterlee
Robert H. Satterlee (Stage Manager) just returned from Memphis where he directed a production of Steven Deitz's Inventing Van Gogh. Recent Steppenwolf engagements have included The Pain and the Itch, Intimate Apparel, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Topdog/Underdog (which he also toured to The Alley Theatre, Dallas Theatre Center and Hartford Stage Company), Homebody/Kabul, Wedding Band and The Time of Your Life. Previously, he stage managed Glengarry Glen Ross in Chicago, Dublin and Toronto and toured with Steppenwolf’s production of Side Man to the Melbourne International Arts Festival in Australia and to Colorado. Prior to that, Satterlee served as the production stage manager for Steppenwolf’s Tony Award-winning Broadway production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. In the past at Steppenwolf, Satterlee has stage managed David Copperfield, Morning Star, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Memory of Water, The Cryptogram, Wolf Lullaby and others.
