Synopsis

Journey from a night in 1959 back to childhood to the exact moment of innocence lost, when the world is, in an instant, a dangerous place. A young boy sits waiting up for his father in anticipation of their camping trip, while his mother tries to get him to sleep, and a family friend attempts to distract them both.
