The Intimate Conversation

Playwright Lynn Nottage won the New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award for Best Play, the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Play and four other national awards for Best Play for Intimate Apparel, receiving its Midwest premiere in the Steppenwolf Downstairs Theatre, January 13 – March 13, 2005. Associate Artistic Director Curt Columbus called Lynn in New York to discuss the genesis for her fascinating new play.
