Synopsis
One of 1995's most talked about new plays in London became 1996's outrageous comedy at Steppenwolf. Winner of the 1995 Olivier Award for best new comedy, Mojo exposes audiences to the brutally comical and violent backrooms of the London music business at the beginning of rock'n'roll. Mojo is a darkly funny look at the seductions of American pop culture as seen through the eyes of British youth in 1958 — a view of the future glamorized by movies, gangsters and the rise of the rock hero.Content Advisory
