Linda Roethke has also designed The Motherf**ker with the Hat and Intimate Apparel at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Her recent credits include Richard II, Into the Woods (Oregon Shakespeare Festival); Gem of the Ocean, The Good Book, (Court Theatre); One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Alliance Theatre); and Sunday in the Park with George (Kansas City Repertory Theatre). She has designed at The Public Theater, Los Angles Performing Arts Center, Goodman Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Maltz Jupiter Theatre and American Players Theatre. Her awards include a Joseph Jefferson Award for An Ideal Husband at Court Theatre, Connecticut Critic Circle’s, and Suzi Bass nominations. Linda is a professor of costume design at Northwestern University.
