Synopsis

Opened June 28, 1998 Living on the outskirts of Salinas, long-unemployed Patty spends her last weekend before re-entering the workforce rolling joints with her best friend Michelle. Patty's three college-age children - with the exception of sensitive Lorraine who yearns to get out of the mess - aren't working on anything but following in their mom's footsteps as career potheads. All of this is too much for Patty's tyrannical truck-driving boyfriend, who threatens to leave, taking his pot plants with him, if things don't shape up. Justin Tanner's Pot Mom brandishes comedic flair with biting social commentary.
