About the Show

Julie Ganey finds a little place for her family to get away from it all in the Great Lakes State and discovers it's not that simple. Cue chainsaws, chipmunks, menacing deer and eco-heroes! Michiganderish is a solo show about apocalyptic nature, reaping what we sow and an examination of what it means to truly belong to a place.

Michiganderish was commissioned as part of Julie Ganey’s 2024 Creative Fellowship at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts.
