Kirsten Fitzgerald

Kirsten Fitzgerald is thrilled to return to Steppenwolf Theatre Company where she was previously seen in The Qualms, Clybourne Park and A Streetcar Named Desire. A proud member of the Artistic Ensemble and current Artistic Director at A Red Orchid Theatre, she was most recently on stage in the world premiere of Pilgrim’s Progress by Brett Neveu. Other credits at A Red Orchid include Mud Blue Sky, The New Electric Ballroom, Abigail’s Party, The Sea Horse (Jeff Award), The Killer and more. Other credits include work with Victory Gardens Theater, Remy Bumppo Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Defiant Theatre, Circle Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Shattered Globe Theatre, Plasticene Theater and the Utah Shakespeare Festival among others. Kirsten teaches acting at DePaul University and Columbia College. Her television credits include Sirens, Chicago Fire, ER and Underemployed.
