Kent Paul
Kent Paul has directed the U.S. premieres of two plays by Irish playwright Frank McGuinness: The Bird Sanctuary, with Elizabeth Franz and Hayley Mills (Pittsburgh Public Theater/Alabama Shakespeare Festival) and Gates of Gold Off-Broadway (59E59). He brought together Sam Waterston, Elizabeth Franz, John Slattery & James Waterston for Long Day's Journey into Night (Syracuse Stage). Paul helped Keith Powell to launch Contemporary Stage Company in Wilmington, Delaware; most recently, Paul directed An Evening of Tennessee Williams Poems selected and arranged by John Lahr (Dixon Place).
