Karin Kopischke
Karin returns to Steppenwolf where her work includes Carter’s Way, The Weir, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Sideman, The Playboy of the Western World, Nomathemba, The Glass Menagerie, Slaughterhouse-Five and SLAVS!. Other work includes world premieres at American Conservatory Theatre, Goodman, Milwaukee Rep, Huntington, Minnesota Opera, Kansas City Rep, Victory Gardens, Children’s Theatre Company, Peninsula Players and classics at Chicago Shakespeare, Long Wharf, Kennedy Center, Crossroads, Court and Cincinnati Playhouse. She has received the Joseph Jefferson Award, the AriZoni Award and was nominated for the Prague Quadrennial. Kärin has taught costume design at DePaul and Northwestern.
