Elizabeth Laidlaw returns to Steppenwolf Theatre Company where she was last seen in The Berlin Circle directed by Tina Landau. Elizabeth has worked extensively in Chicago and regional theatre over the past 22 years. Recent stage credits include Grounded (eTOPiA—Northwestern University); The Crucible (Indiana Repertory Theatre); and just this summer, The Taming of the Shrew and Cymbeline (Lakeside Shakespeare Theatre), where she serves as founding Artistic Director. Television credits include Chicago PD, Crisis, Betrayal, Boss, The Chicago Code, Turks and the recent breakout hit web-series, Under Covers. Film credits include Cleveland Abduction, Dollop, Into the Wake, Dimension, Three Days and the recently released and critically acclaimed Henry Gamble’s Birthday Party, written and directed by Stephen Cone.
