Synopsis

Steppenwolf’s Traffic welcomes New York’s Symphony Space to Chicago to present their award-winning public radio show Selected Shorts. This evening of classic and new short stories will be hosted by Isaiah Sheffer and will feature members of the Steppenwolf ensemble. Traffic's Selected Shorts evening will be recorded live for a broadcast on National Public Radio. Jim True-Frost reads "Killing Time," "Gold Coast" and "The River" all by Stuart Dybek (from The Coast of Chicago) Martha Lavey reads "Football" by Elizabeth Crane (from All This Heavenly Glory) Isaiah Sheffer reads "He Couldn’t Boogie-Woogie Worth a Damn" by Nelson Algren (from The Neon Wilderness)
