Synopsis

Join us for this free performance - a dynamic evening exploring the rich blues legacy of our city and its parallels to hip-hop, combining poetry, performance and perspective for a multi-generational audience. The evening is co-hosted by Sylvia Ewing and hometown harmonica hero Billy Branch. His group The Sons of Blues will be joined by an all-Chicago collection of hip-hop artists and performance poets for an unforgettable evening.
