Synopsis

Opened October 18, 1997 Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and one of the most widely-produced plays in American drama, Our Town tells the story of the people of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire. By following the courtship and marriage of young lovers George and Emily, life in this small town is revealed in all of its sweet innocence and pathos. The wisdom of the play, rendered thorugh a deceptively simple story, makes Our Town an enduring treasure of the American theater.
