ABOUT THIS SHOW
Order of Service is a personal ode to sound and sacred space as tools for healing. This performance contemplates the complexities between the sacred and the secular using sound design, film and structural installation deeply seated in the embodiment practice of dance and kinetic energy.
This is an experimental multimedia narrative which invites the audience to engage our collective & individual responses to both joy and grief.
About Rae Chardonnay
Rae Chardonnay is a DJ, interdisciplinary artist and Cultural Programs Producer from the West side Chicago. She is the Founder of Black Eutopia, a series of segmented programming intended to cultivate space for marginalized communities; and co-founder of the award winning Party Noire where joy for Black queer, trans and gender non-conforming people is centered.
