About Muslim Writers Collective:
The Muslim Writers Collective is a national organization aimed at reclaiming the Muslim American narrative by promoting storytelling, creativity and the arts. The Chicago chapter engages in three types of programming: curated live arts performances, open mics and artistic skills playshops. We uplift writers and artists who identify as Muslim regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and physical/ mental ability. While our artists are Muslim, we welcome an open audience.
