About This show

In the not so distant future, spirituality is owned and operated by corporate America. For the love of money and value of fame, spiritual gifts are now commodified, controlled and corrupted, guiding humans to their own demise.

Enter The Fool.

With help from the Major Arcana, The Fool embarks on a journey to reclaim the divine spark.

Will they succeed? It’s all in the cards.

ARCANA: The Fool’s Errand is a semi-immersive tarot adventure through the Fool’s journey. Through collaborative divination, improv and audience interaction, the Front Porch Oracles will explore the ways in which one small choice can change the stories we hold.

About The Front Porch Oracles

Front Porch Oracles (FPO) is a performance collective dedicated to exploring ritual and spirituality through performance. They aim to transform their relationship with performance to one of healing, in a place where we take care of ourselves, our actors and our witnesses. They see our untapped potential in everything that we do and commit themselves to unleashing their collective magic. FPO is committed to making work that is accessible to people and cultivating opportunities for new and emerging artists of color to develop their work. Through ARCANA: The Fool’s Errand, FPO hopes to demonstrate how tarot can ground ourselves in our inner wisdom as well as build healthier relationships with ourselves, one another and the divine. The Front Porch Oracles have created work with Free Street Theater, Woman Made Gallery, and Hot Wheelz Festival.
