The Steppenwolf Associates invite you to join us in the wings of our virtual stage for this exclusive "behind the screens" look at virtual play production. Guests will enjoy two intimate conversations facilitated by teens from Steppenwolf Education’s after-school program, the Young Adult Council, featuring artists from Steppenwolf NOW productions, our dynamic, new virtual programming stream. The all-access event includes a Q&A with artists from Steppenwolf’s esteemed ensemble, fabulous raffle prizes, virtual backstage access and an interactive virtual cocktail hour with the Associates.
Proceeds from Behind the Screens will support Steppenwolf’s nationally recognized arts education program, Steppenwolf Education. Each year, Steppenwolf Education works with high schools across the Chicago area to deliver world-class theater to nearly 20,000 students, teachers and families. Your support plays a crucial role in keeping this program accessible and barrier-free to the next generation of creative leaders.
SPOTLIGHTING OUR VIRTUAL STAGES
Join us for illuminating conversations with our brilliant Steppenwolf NOW artists from the upcoming productions What Is Left, Burns and Wally World. Behind the Screens will highlight the process of creating immersive visual experiences on screen. Learn more about Steppenwolf NOW, a new virtual programming stream featuring breakthrough stories written by America’s most talented voices, spotlighting the nation’s premier ensemble theatre and available anywhere in the world.
