Tony Hernandez
Tony Hernandez is very excited to make his Steppenwolf debut. Chicago credits include: Argonautika; Lookingglass Alice (also at The McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ and The New Victory Theatre in NYC); Hard Times (also at The Arden Theatre in Philadelphia, PA); The Baron in the Trees; La Luna Muda; The Old Curiosity Shop and Hephaestus (which he created and also co-directed and co-wrote with Heidi Stillman at Lookingglass Theatre Company, where he is an Artistic Associate); and The Skriker (Defiant Theatre Company). Other credits include The Flying Griffin Circus and All the Time in the World (The Actors Gymnasium). Tony grew up in the circus with his family and toured with various circuses, including a 5-year tour with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey. He also broke a Guinness World Record on the highwire for an 8-person pyramid, with his wife’s family, The Flying Wallendas.
