Stephanie Nelson

Stephanie Nelson is pleased to have the chance to work with Steppenwolf Arts Exchange and Hallie Gordon once again. Ms Nelson has been a Chicago-based freelance designer for theater for many years with scenic credits including Rivendell's Self Defense, Noble Fool's Mouse Cop, Court/Redmoon Theater's co-production of Cyrano, NYC Players’ Good Samaritans, Henry IV, Part 1, Caveman and Boxing 2000, Redmoon's Seagull, Salao and Unbinding Isaac, Steppenwolf Theatre's No Place Like Home, World Set Free and The Water Engine and Running With Scissors’ The Man Who Fell In Love with the Moon. Stephanie has been honored with the Joseph Jefferson Scenic Design Award for Red Orchid's The Cut and has received the After Dark Award and two Jeff citations. Presently Ms. Nelson is focusing on interior and exhibit design projects, and has recently opened her co-design of the Ten Chimneys exhibit and lobby design to the public in Genessee Depot, Wisconsin.
