Sean Blake recently completed a very successful run of Xanadu where he played Terpsicore,Hermes, and Cupid. Other credits include Timon of Athens at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre .Broadway/National Tours Showboat(Dance Captain/Swing). Regional Theatre: The Rose Tatoo, Ain't Misbehavin, The Story and Purlie, all at The Goodman Theatre. Man of LaMancha, Carousel at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. RAISIN, Carousel, Caroline or Change (Choreographer) all at The Court Theatre in Chicago. Birdie Blue, Seattle Rep. Theatre. Sean has also performed at the Prestigious Kennedy Center in Stephen Sondheim and Hal Prince’s world premiere of Bounce. He can also be heard on the original cast recording of Bounce. Sean has also performed at Second City Chicago in Southside of Heaven. Other Regional credits include , The Pasadena Playhouse, The Marriott Theatre, The Northlight Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, The Fulton Opera Playhouse, and Alabama Shakespeare Theatre to name a few. Sean has been the recipient of three Joseph Jefferson Award nominations here in Chicago as well as two Black Theatre Alliance Award nominations.
