Sarah Vowell, "a cranky stylist with talent to burn" (Newsweek), best known for her monologues and documentaries for public radio’s This American Life. She is the best-selling author of Assassination Vacation, The Partly Cloudy Patriot, Radio On: A Listener’s Diary and Take the Cannoli: Stories from the New World. As a critic and reporter, she has contributed to numerous magazines and newspapers, including GQ, Los Angeles Times, The Village Voice, Spin and The New York Times Book Review, TIME and Salon.com. Sarah provided the voice of teenage superhero Violet Parr in Pixar Animation Studio’s The Incredibles, and regularly appears as a social observer on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Late Show with David Letterman and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
