Richard Henzel returns to Steppenwolf where he appeared in Dandelion Wine and A Visit With Mark Twain, directed by Rondi Reed. Other Chicago credits include The Action Against Sol Schumann and Affluenza (Victory Gardens); Gypsy (Ravinia); A Funny Thing...Forum, Pajama Game, West Side Story, Grover's Corners and 1776 (Marriott's Lincolnshire); Return of the Hip Messiah (Second City Skybox); Rap Master Ronnie (Theatre Building); Huckleberry Finn (Goodman) and Other People's Money (Royal George). Regional credits include The Prince, A Walk in the Woods and Copenhagen (Madison Rep); The Count, A Murder, A Mystery and a Marriage and Hanging Fire (Florida Stage) and Amadeus (New American Theatre). Among his numerous film and television credits, his was the first voice Bill Murray heard every morning coming from his clock radio in Groundhog Day.
