Phillip Edward Van Lear
Phillip Edward Van Lear has preformed with Steppenwolf Theatre Company as Cholly Breedlove in the world premiere of Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye. A 30-year veteran of the Chicago artistic community, Phillip has had the blessing of working as a professional actor, director, producer, writer, performance poet and educator across the United States and around the world. He is a native of Aurora, Illinois and a 35-year ensemble member of The Riverfront Playhouse.
