Michael Driscoll
Michael Driscoll is a 2008 graduate of Illinois State University where he directed The Last Five Years , Rain , Some Fish , No Elephants and selections from Sweeney Todd . Other credits include directing Blithe Spirit and assistant directing The Grey Zone (GoodLuck Macbeth Theatre Company). In Chicago, Michael has directed Flip Flop , (HO)MOTOWN (About Face Theatre); and For Another (American Theater Company). He assistant directed the Jeff Award-winning production of The Original Grease , RENT (American Theater Company); Oh Coward! (Writers’ Theatre); The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (Illinois Shakespeare Festival); and Sunday in the Park with George (Porchlight Music Theatre). Michael is also the Education Associate at American Theater Company and a freelance teaching artist, having taught with StageCoach Theatre Arts School, The Puerto Rican Arts Alliance, American Theater Company and Columbia College Chicago’s Center for Community Arts Partnerships.
