Matt Frey

Matt Frey designed Will Eno’s Middletown with Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Recent work includes Mese Mariano, Le Villi (Spoleto Festival); Lucas Hnath’s A Public Reading… (Soho Rep); Tanya Barfield’s The Call (Playwrights Horizons); Will Eno’s Gnit, Jacobs-Jenkins’ Appropriate (Humana Festival of New American Plays); Jesse Eisenberg’s The Revisionist (Rattlestick Playwrights Theater); Melissa James Gibson’s What Rhymes With America (Atlantic Theatre Company); and Dog Days directed by Robert Woodruff (Peak Performances). Companies he has collaborated with include Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Corn Exchange Theatre Company (Dublin), Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Signature Theatre Ensemble, Naked Angels, The New Group, Manhattan Class Company, New York Theatre Workshop and Second Stage Theatre, as well as many other theaters, regional and abroad.
