Kona N. Burks (Ensemble) is excited to work at Steppenwolf Theatre Company once again, where she last understudied for Steppenwolf for Young Adults’ production of How Long Will I Cry? Other Chicago credits include Heaven, How I Got Here (Provision Theater); Good People (Redtwist Theatre); Saturday Night, Sunday Morning (Prologue Theatre Company at Steppenwolf’s Garage Rep); Small (Open Door Repertory Company); Intimate Apparel, Crumbs From The Table of Joy (Illinois Theatre Center); Levi James, The Trip, and A Fool Such As I (eta Creative Arts Foundation). Kona is a member of SAG-AFTRA. She attended The School at Steppenwolf in 2012, holds a B. A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her M.A. degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
