Artist

Julia Zayas-Melendez is a graduate of Emerson College and has stage managed at various theatres in Massachusetts, including The Market Theatre, Boston Academy of Music, Boston Theatre Works, The Theatre Offensive, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, SpeakEasy Stage and Shakespeare & Company. Julia has also worked on both the Boston and Chicago productions of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, and spent a season as the Production Stage Manager at Tri-State Actors Theater in New Jersey. In Chicago, Julia has had the honor of working on Steppenwolf's Cherry Orchard, stage managing Self Defense for Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, working on the Next Theatre's Jeff-nominated productions of The Misanthrope and Yellowman, serving as production manager for The Free Associates Theatre Company and working as the floor manager for Court Theatre's 2002 season.
