Joel Moorman joined the Steppenwolf Staff in 2010, bringing a cinematic approach to video for theatre. As a content producer Joel has helped Steppenwolf pioneer work in trailers, commercials, profile interviews and short documentaries.  Joel has also contributed filmed content for Steppenwolf’s productions of George Orwell’s 1984 and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. In addition to video, Joel produces and shoots several photography projects. His work with Steppenwolf has been featured in The New York Times, American Theatre Magazine and most local Chicago media outlets. When away from Steppenwolf, Joel freelances in music videos, short narrative and corporate video content.
