Gerson Dacanay makes his Steppenwolf debut with Kafka on the Shore. Chicago area credits include SS! The Taming of the Shrew (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), The Day on Which a Man Dies (SummerNITE), The Tempest (First Folio Shakespeare Festival), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (New American Theatre). Regional credits include four seasons at Oregon Shakespeare Festival and work with Indiana Repertory Theatre, Utah Shakespearean Festival, American Players Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, Actors' Company of Pennsylvania, Seattle Group Theatre and Seattle Children’s Theatre. Gerson holds an MFA in Acting from the Professional Theatre Training Program at the University of Delaware.
