Gary Perez is an original founder of the acclaimed LABryrinth Theater Company, along with John Ortiz. He was most recently seen on Person of Interest, The Closer, Awake, Prime Suspect, Lie to Me and many other television shows, along with recurring roles on Oz and The Sopranos. Film credits include Merchant- Ivory’s Side Streets, the John Singleton produced Illegal Tender, directed by Franc Reyes, and many other independent films. Theatrically, he’s worked with Pulitzer Prizewinners John Patrick Shanley, Nilo Cruz, Lynn Nottage, as well as José Rivera, at such theaters as Yale Repertory Theatre, Second Stage Theatre, McCarter Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and The Public Theater.
