David Weiner designed the world premiere of Guards at the Taj for which he won the 2016 Lucille Lortel Award. Previous Steppenwolf Theatre Company credits include East of Eden and The Way West (also directed by Amy Morton). Broadway credits include The Price, Misery, Romeo & Juliet, Dead Accounts, Grace, Godspell, The Normal Heart, Reasons to Be Pretty, Butley, Dinner at Eight, Betrayal and The Real Thing. Off Broadway credits include MCC Theater, Manhattan Theatre Club, Second Stage Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, The Public Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, Theater for a New Audience, Vineyard Theatre and Atlantic Theater Company. Regional credits include Goodman Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe, Center Theatre Group, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, South Coast Repertory, Guthrie Theater, Alley Theatre, McCarter Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival and Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
