Take Me Out marks Darin's 13th production with About Face. Past productions include the scenery and lighting for Bash and insideOUT, as well as the lighting for The Gift, Pulp, Fascination, Theater District, Up Until Now, Undone, Xena Live: Episode II, Seven Moves (After Dark Award), Whitman and Raising Voices. Other Chicago productions include Long Way from Chicago, Cat's Cradle and Cooking with Lard with Lifeline; Strictly Dishonorable, The Trip to Bountiful and A Lie of the Mind with American Theater Company; as well as designs for Timeline, Cobalt Theatre Ensemble, Roadworks, Next and Theatre at the Center. Darin has designed the lighting for two concert halls at University of Illinois and continues to work as a freelance electrician for The Oprah Winfrey Show.
