From the tender age of four years old, Brandon A. Lampkin has been studying music. He started out being trained in classical music, then later embarked on an incredible journey in jazz and gospel. At the age of 12, he attended The Choir Academy of the Chicago Children's Choir where he met Josephine Lee. Being inspired by Ms. Lee, Brandon continued to work hard at learning what he could do with a piano and how music comes from within yourself. While in the Chicago Children's Choir, he served as Minister of Music at the New Revelation of Holiness M.B. Church in Chicago. After graduating from the choir, Brandon was called to sing and play for some of the biggest names in music from Barbara Streisand to Michael McDonald. Brandon continues to work closely with the Chicago Children's Choir by being an accompanist for the Englewood Neighborhood Choir and the Austin Neighborhood Choir. He continues to compose his own music and perform around the world.
