BARRY BENNETT (Sound Design) came to Chicago in 1993 and has since had his theatre/dance scores and other music heard as far away as Salzburg and as near as the seat in which you are sitting. This group of folks would include 16th Street Theater (resident artist), Chicago Dramatists (associate artist), The Aardvark, Steppenwolf Theatre, Goodman Theatre, The Art Institute of Chicago, Emerald City Theatre, National Pastime Theater, Cindy Brandle Dance Company, Prop Thtr, Chicago Moving Company (composer in residence), Estrogen Fest, Writers’ Theatre, Asimina Chremos, Breakbone Dance, and others. By day Barry is a modern dance accompanist. He released 5 albums between 1997 and 2008 with his group MiLkBabY (now defunct) and just released his first solo album, Death to Death! and Other Tales of Uneasy Harmony, on the Madison based imprint of Uvulittle Records.
