Ariel Shafir
Ariel Shafir makes his Steppenwolf Theatre Company debut. Other Chicago credits include Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet (Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Jeff Award—Best Fight). Some regional credits include the world premiere of Captors (Huntington Theatre Company); Steve Martin’s The Underpants (Suzi Bass Award); co-starred in Mamet’s two hander A Life in the Theater with Andre DeShields (Alliance Theatre); and Scorched (The Wilma Theater; Barrymore Award—Outstanding Ensemble in a Play). Television credits include 30 Rock, M’Larky, Army Wives, One Life to Live and The 9th Dot. Film credits include What Happens Next, Bride Wars, What Happens in Vegas, Dan Fogler’s Hysterical Psycho and Don Peyote.
