Artist

Angela is an artist and educator currently serving as Redmoon's director of Neighborhood Arts Programs, where she develops and leads creative learning opportunities that result in unique community authored spectacle, ceremony, ritual, and event. Angela most recently led Redmoon’s first international residency in Letterkenny, Ireland, The Sweet Fantastic, a public art project that served students from three primary schools, the Donegal Regional Cultural Center, and Oatfield Sweets Factory in a celebrated community event. As an artist, Angela has served as art director and key designer to a dozen Redmoon productions since 2004 in addition to artistic collaborations with LDSM, Collaboraction, Walkabout Theater, and Make New Species. She has served as an instructor and guest artist to the MCA, Northwestern University, University of MN, Hyde Park Arts Center, Chicago Public Schools, Link’s Hall, Jung Institute, and Ball Horticultural Society.
