Polk Bros. Sponsors Teacher Immersion Workshop

On October 5, 2005, Steppenwolf Arts Exchange’s Teacher Theatre Immersion Course began its sixth season of year-long workshops designed to help teachers of all subject areas integrate theater principles into their instruction of core curricula. Taught by Resident Artist Robin Chaplik, the free workshops are supported in part by the Polk Bros. Foundation, which provides direct services to Chicago communities of need and programs that have a measurable impact on underserved children, youth and families. For over sixteen years, the Polk Bros. Foundation has allowed Steppenwolf to develop a comprehensive educational program that benefits thousands of teachers, students and their families each year. Steppenwolf is deeply grateful for the Polk Bros. Foundation’s long-standing commitment to the Arts Exchange education initiative and is proud to acknowledge the Foundation’s role in building and sustaining this model program.
