As a company that is internationally known as a premier actors' theater, Steppenwolf is proud to offer a wide range of work featuring some of the country’s most celebrated artists. In spite of diligent efforts to keep subscription and individual ticket prices for these plays affordable, theater still remains inaccessible for many members of the greater community. For that reason, Steppenwolf has launched an initiative that makes twenty tickets available for every Downstairs Theatre performance for just $20.
As the inaugural sponsor of this initiative, Exelon has been a critical partner in making theater available to a broader audience. According to Chairman and CEO John W. Rowe, “We’re proud to be contributing to the cultural enrichment of the Chicago community by providing greater access to one of the country’s most renowned theaters.”
It is with deepest gratitude that Steppenwolf thanks Exelon for the general support they’ve given over the past years and for the enthusiasm with which they’ve approached this important initiative.
