Victor J. Cole

VICTOR J. COLE has appeared in Fences (Court), Smile Orange (Victory Gardens), East Texas Hotlinks (Onyx) and The Horn (City Lit). He has also worked with Organic Theatre, Black Ensemble Theatre and Kuumba Workshop. Directing credits include Living Fat (Onyx), Doo Lister’s Blues (Blue Light) and Life Before Def (Black Ensemble) which he also wrote. Other writing credits include creating, co-scripting and hosting the movie commentary show, Peeping A Flick, which ran for parts of three years on radio station WVON, and co-adapting the script The Comedians for Court Theatre. His one man show, Bill Pickett – the Dusky Demon, was featured as part of the Chicago Historical Society’s western exhibit. As a voiceover artist he has voiced numerous radio and television commercials. He is a volunteer reader for the Blind Service Association and also specializes in the audio description of events such as tours, movies, theater and art exhibits for the visually impaired.
