Monifa M. Days (Frieda) reprises her role as Frieda. She was last seen at Steppenwolf in Wedding Band, a co-production with Congo Square Theatre Company. She is a co-founder of Congo Square, where she has appeared in Before It Hits Home, Spunk, Daughters of the Mock and Layla’s Dream. She received her BFA from Wayne State University in Detroit and her MFA in theater from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Monifa has done a production of Day of Absence with the University of Durban Westville in Durban, South Africa, which was performed at the Standard Arts Bank Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa. She recently won a nationwide contest by TNT as the next best Dramatic Actor for 2006 which relocated her to Los Angeles.
