MARISSA MCKOWN (Assistant Director) returns to The Steppenwolf Garage after working with Ann Filmer on Stations Lost before taking it to Brooklyn. Marissa is the managing director of Oak Park Festival Theatre and has worked with Strawdog Theatre Company, City Lit Theater, Free Street Theater, Janus Theater, CCAP, Columbia College Chicago's Theater Department and with former Wooster Group member Michael Stumm. She has been Jeff nominated for her co-adaptation of Gidget, which she also directed. Marissa's favorite productions include Hunky Dory, a play inspired by the David Bowie album of the same name and The Unauthorized Musical Biography of George Takei.
