Artist

Katie is a freelance puppeteer, director, improviser and teacher for many Chicago ensembles. In 2008, she founded Wishbone Theatre Collective with several other Clemson University alumni. Katie has also worked with such organizations as Von Orthal Puppets, Clockwise Theatre, Northlight Theatre, American Theatre Company, The International Center for Women Playwrights, the Steppenwolf Cross Town Teen Ensemble, Hobo Junction, Johnny Stax Productions, Directors Lab (New York and Chicago) and Asolo Theatre in Sarasota, Fl. In addition to her theatrical pursuits, she is also a mentor and teacher for the Civic Leadership Foundation.
