Christian Castro makes his Chicago theater debut with Take Me Out. Just 22 months removed from his graduation from Illinois State University, he has been in three productions for the Chicago Dance Crash theatre company: The Mercutio Story (performed off-Broadway in New York and at the Studio at Chicago Shakespeare), Kill The Man and Nocturne. While at school, where he was earning his B.A. in Theatre Acting, he played such diverse roles as Carl in Lonely Planet, Jean in Miss Julie, Orsino in Twelfth Night and Theseus in Phedra and performed during the Illinois Shakespeare Festival in the summer of 2002. He would like to thank his Grandparents for their continuing love and support and he dedicates every performance to Bonnie, “I Love You.”
