In 2018 we announced the creation of The Mariann Mayberry Award (The M’Lou). The award provides a yearly cash gift given to candidate(s) from Steppenwolf’s staff to be used for aide in pursuing creative endeavors or help in facing life’s challenges or financial hardships.

The Stephen M. Hoenig Theatre Artists Fund was established in 1992 by the Hoenig family—Stephen's mother and brother—as a tribute to Stephen’s enduring passion for the arts.
