Self-Parking At Steppenwolf
Our parking facility consists of both a covered garage and an open-air lot, located just south of our theater at 1624 N Halsted.
If you’re driving, we always suggest padding travel times, and arriving at the theatre at least 30 minutes prior to your ticketed curtain time.
Parking alert e-mails
On days when we’re presenting performances in multiple theaters, it’s possible that the demand for parking will exceed the capacity of our facility, which may have an impact on people that arrive in the 30 minutes prior to their ticketed curtain time. For days we anticipate this happening, we e-mail a parking alert to all ticketed patrons who have an e-mail address on file with us. If you’re interested in this service, or just want to make sure we have the correct e-mail address on file, please e-mail email@example.com.
Call the Steppenwolf Parking Hotline: (312) 335-1774
If you find yourself arriving in the 30 minutes before your ticketed curtain time, please use your cell to call our parking when you’re a few blocks away from the theatre – we’ll let you know if we still have space in our facility, or suggest an alternative.
