Celeste Williams has performed in Chicago and regionally for over two decades and makes her Steppenwolf debut with Harriet Jacobs. Some of Celeste’s performances include Permanent Collection (Northlight Theatre); In the Blood (Next Theatre); Knock Me a Kiss, Emma’s Child and Pecong (Victory Gardens); A Raisin in the Sun, Drowning Crow, A Christmas Carol and Miss Evers’ Boys (Goodman Theatre); King Lear (Chicago Shakespeare); Eastville (Writers’ Theatre); All’s Well That Ends Well and Playboy of the West Indies (Court Theatre); The Rivals, A Christmas Carol, Wedding Band, Early Girl, A Raisin in the Sun and She Stoops to Conquer (Milwaukee Repertory). Celeste is a faculty member of the theater department at Columbia College.
