Todd Rosenthal marks his 29th production at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Broadway credits include August: Osage County (Tony Award: Best Scenic Design), The Motherf**ker with the Hat (Tony Nomination), Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Of Mice and Men, This is Our Youth and Fish in the Dark. Off-Broadway he has designed Red Light Winter (Barrow Street Theatre); Domesticated (Lincoln Center Theater); and The Qualms (Playwrights Horizons). He designed for Big Apple Circus for six years. International credits include National Theatre in London, Sydney Theatre Company in Australia, and Theatre Royal in Ireland. Domestic credits include Goodman Theatre (artistic partner), Guthrie Theater, Alliance Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, American Repertory Theater, La Jolla Playhouse, Arena Stage, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. His museum exhibitions include Mythbusters: The Explosive Exhibition and The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes. His awards include Olivier, Helen Hayes, Jeff and Michael Merritt. He is a professor at Northwestern University and a graduate of Yale School of Drama.
