Todd Rosenthal
Todd Rosenth has designed 28 productions for Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Broadway credits include August: Osage County (Tony Award: Best Scenic Design), The Motherf**ker with the Hat (Tony Nomination), Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Of Mice and Men, This is Our Youth and Fish in the Dark and the upcoming Broadway production of Straight White Men. Off-Broadway he has designed Red Light Winter (Barrow Street Theatre); Domesticated (Lincoln Center Theater); and The Qualms (Playwrights Horizons). He designed for Big Apple Circus for six years. International credits include August: Osage County (London & Australia), The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Ireland) and Nice Fish (London). Regional work includes Goodman Theatre (artistic partner), Guthrie Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and many others. Museum exhibitions include Mythbusters: The Explosive Exhibition and The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes. His awards include Olivier, Helen Hayes, Ovation, Garland, Jefferson, Bay Area outer Critics Circle, and Michael Merritt. He is a professor at Northwestern University and a graduate of Yale School of Drama.
