Discover: * What it takes to get an ensemble member to fly * How to make a surprise entrance through a trap door * Steppenwolf's backstage 'secrets' first hand Join Steppenwolf artists for Behind the Curtain, the first ever event at the Steppenwolf Scene Shop on Saturday, October 10 at 7:00pm. Guests will have a chance to drink and dine among the sets of the upcoming production of American Buffalo and last season’s The Seafarer, operate a follow spot, listen to the stage manager’s cues for the storm from The Tempest, and learn secrets at the theatre make-up station. The silent auction includes such priceless items as a 1987 poster of John Malkovich and Joan Allen from Burn This, an autographed photo of the dinner scene in August: Osage County, and a day of antiquing and lunch with Steppenwolf’s Properties Master Jenny Di Luciano.
